Police

The Village of Caldwell does not currently have a Police department. We are currently in contract with the Noble County Sheriff’s department to provide 40 hours of dedicated Village coverage. The Noble County Sheriff’s office was able to hire 1 additional deputy as a result of this collaboration and ultimate make our county and village a safer place. We started this collaborative effort in November, 2018 with 20 hours of dedicated service.

We increased coverage to 40 hours in January, 2022.

Village Council is provided with statistics from the hours served at every council meeting.  These stats include the number of hours spent in the Village of Caldwell and the frequency of information:
