Board of Public Affairs Meeting Minutes, September, 2019
The Board of Public Affairs for the Village of Caldwell met in regular session on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with the following members present: Clark, Estadt and Radcliff.
Minutes for the previous meeting approved as written.
A motion to pay the bills including monthly bills made by Estadt seconded by Clark. All in favor, motion carried.
Chip Stephan of W.E. Quicksall reported on the following water and sewer projects. Sewer Area F – Project re-nominated for WPCLF funds. Currently no word on RPIG funds. Stephan and Jerod Ramage discussed changes made to project including need to contact Patsy Parks on North Street on line changes on her property. Activated Carbon Feed System for Water – Plans and specs prepared and presented to Weber for review.
Jason Weber, Water Plant Superintendent absent. Board discussed meter installation with Michele Radcliff giving them estimate on how many are done stating 131 meters have been installed. Radcliff and Clark discussed the need to finish this project. Radcliff to follow up with Weber.
Jerod Ramage, Sewer Plant Superintendent reported on the following: Meeting with Thrasher and EPA Wednesday September 11 to discuss combining the last two phases of sewer separation. Downspouts continuing to be issue with several homes in Village. Valve break North Clarifier Pioneer Pipe repairing.
Michele’s notes discussed and a motion made by Radcliff seconded by Estadt to credit Lisa Finley $35.78 on sewer from water leak. All in favor motion carried.
The board decided Pure Water would pay penalties.
Radcliff questioned pending miscellaneous accounts stating he would contact Jason Rucker on unpaid sewer tap.
Motion made by Radcliff seconded by Estadt to adjourn. All in favor, motion carried.
