Tax Filing Deadline Extended
Due to the COVID-19 Outbreak and as Governor DeWine signs House Bill 197 into law, the Village of Caldwell’s Tax filing deadline for the 2019 Individual and Corporate Net Profit Returns and the 2020 Estimated Tax Returns has been extended to July 15, 2020.
This extended deadline applies only to the 2019 Tax Return filing and payments and 2020 Estimated Tax filing and payments. All other tax payments such as employer withholding are still due by the original due dates.
The waiver of penalty and interest charges also applies only to the payment of 2019 and 2020 taxes. Delinquent or past due taxes and filings are not included in this waiver.
Taxpayers may mail copies of their 2019 tax records or place them in the drop box located at the front of the building at 215 West Street. Payments may be made by check or money order through the mail or our drop boxes.
(For the safety of the public and our staff, cash payments will not be accepted until our office reopens to the public.)
Please feel free to contact the Tax Office at 740-732-2053 with questions or concerns.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience while we protect the health of the public and staff. We hope to be back to normal operations as soon as we are allowed.
Mailing Address: Village of Caldwell Income Tax Department, 215 West Street, Caldwell OH 43723
We understand that this crisis is putting a strain on our small community and we do not plan on penalizing for any late payments.
