Village of Caldwell Council Meeting Minutes for September, 2023

The Council for the Village of Caldwell met in session on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 5:00 p.m., with the following members present: Rucker, Saling, Minosky, Welsh and Postlethwait. Antill absent. Council meeting for September 18 cancelled.

The previous month regular minutes approved as written.

Motion by Minosky seconded by Saling that council has received and reviewed all monthly reports including bank reconciliation, appropriation status, fund status, revenue status, payment ledger and payroll reports to include paying bills including monthly, and Weaver Excavating. All in favor motion carried.

Mayors comments: New engineer/project manager on Sewer Project. Project moving in right direction. Water Plant update continuing.

Village Administrator comments: Awarded grant for Veterans Memorial repairs at Cemetery.

Clerk-Treasurer comments: Cemetery Grant funds moving between appropriations for added. expenditures.

Council president Postlethwait questioned Wall that Heals parade and route with all to be added to website.

Lucas Frizell attended meeting for credits for political science class.

Motion by Rucker seconded by Welsh to accept Resolution 2023-18 for the ODOT Pedestrian Project. All in favor. Motion carried.

Motion by Welsh seconded by Saling to accept Resolution 2023-19 for the Memorandum of Understanding Agreement with Associated Pipeline for the purchase of bulk water from the Water Plant. All in favor. Motion carried.

New truck for Sewer Plant discussed.

Mindy McNabb to paint city hall.

Vista Grant to reimburse for Weaver Excavating Project.

Halloween in the Village October 26, from 6-7 p.m.

Fall Clean Up Days Friday November 3-4.

Motion by Minosky seconded by Saling to adjourn. All in favor, motion carried.
