Board of Public Affairs Meeting Minutes, July, 2020

The Board of Public Affairs for the Village of Caldwell met in regular session on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with the following members present: Frederickson, Estadt and Radcliff. 

Minutes for the previous meeting approved as written.

A motion to pay the bills including monthly bills made by Estadt seconded by Frederickson. All in favor, motion carried.

Jason Weber, Water Plant Superintendent reported on plant operations with the following: Working to remove sludge from pond. Continuing to work on valve near Green Valley Co-op. Replacing lime feeder. Pin Oak tap finished and will bill. Water issues at Domino’s building. Repaired leak on 821. 

Jerod Ramage, Sewer Plant Superintendent reported on plant operations with the following: Testing canceled for now therefore Scott and Wes unable to test. Replacing valves. 919 Belford lateral trouble. Working with Thrasher on next sewer project. Repairing blower motor bearing. Replacing sludge flow meter. 

Michele’s Notes discussed with shut offs to resume.

Weber noted that Ramage and Ruppel installing tons of meters.

Radcliff suggested yearly water increases and no more relief on bills.

Mayor Wells informed the board that council will be voting to hire a village administrator and thanked each of the board members for their service. 

Motion to adjourn by Radcliff and seconded by Frederickson. All in favor, motion carried.
