Village of Caldwell Meeting Minutes for July 2026

The Council for the Village of Caldwell met in regular session on Monday July 13, at 5:00 p.m., with the following members present: Rucker, Minosky, Postlethwait, Griffin and Wyscarver. Mayor Wells and Antill absent.

The previous month’s regular and special meeting minutes approved as written.

A motion was made by Rucker seconded by Wyscarver that council has received and reviewed all monthly reports including bank reconciliation, appropriation status, fund status, revenue status, payment ledger and payroll reports to include paying bills including monthly. All in favor motion carried.

Village Administrator comments: Bronze Heights leak repairs made. Hesson and Schoeppner yard repair underway. Lift Station project out for bid. North Street curbs painted along with patching holes. Downtown project on schedule. Zoning request in residential neighborhood that will need followed up on to see if need for variance.

Gary Yoss, Cheryl Cross and other residents of Bronze Heights attended meeting to discuss annexation stating that residents are in favor of annexation. Follow up for more legal advice to discuss annexation and accessing bills for maintenance of water lines.

Pam Knoff and Gerald Ruppel discussed issues with golf carts around town without plates and speeding through the Village.

Second Reading held on Litter Ordinance.

Signage to be installed and Village Hall soon.

Motion to accept Spectrum Contract made by Minosky seconded by Postlethwait. All in favor, motion carried.

Motion to adjourn by Rucker seconded by Wyscarver. All in favor motion carried.
